People aren't giving up yet. I had 16 items left in my basket when I went to checkout and I lost almost all of them one by one. It's not worth putting the order in for what's left:mad:0

Me too!
why M&S can't have their website that once its in your basket its 'yours/safe' I'll never know!!

I know! It's ridiculous.0

Because some people (including me quite often) will put stuff in their basket that they might be interested in, then get called away from the laptop and it can stay in their basket for a couple of days or more. It wouldn't be very good if the stock was reserved for them just because it was in their basket really. Putting in the basket doesn't always mean you definitely want to buy it right there and then! In the meantime you or I might be desperate to buy the item, but it's stuck reserved in someone else's basket. Plus I think M+S just want to sell it all as quick as they can, they don't want the admin of reserving stuff and maintaingin stock levels etc0

im getting sick of M&S now, lots of items on my orders seem to be appearing online, which makes me think that mine will no doubt be cancelled as this is usually the OOS items being relisted grrrrComping wishlist for 2017
1. Family holiday 2. Christmas presents :rudolf: 3. Fishing stuffThe more you put into life, the more you get out0 -
Most websites 'reserve the item' in your basket for about 2 hours, then if you haven't bought the item it goes back on the site. This is a much more sensible way to do things in my opinion.0

If not that, if they would just get oneclick working so you BOUGHT the thing you clicked on, then it amalgamated with any other purchaces over the next 90 mins, the whole thing would be streamlined - we'd all have fewer, larger orders, know what we'd got, & be happy bunnies. And they would have had to pick, pack & deliver fewer orders, which must be cheaper!0
