Nothing! They fitted the two tyres ordered via Blackcircles and didn't even offer to check my tracking, even though I'd rubbed off the outside edges of my old tyres.

Why would they check your tracking? That's a seperate, chargeable service, if you wanted it done you should of asked for it.

Exactly, it's a chargeable service, just like the new suspension struts and new discs I was expecting to need during a visit, I think I'll stick to Kwik Fit.

I found that when I used a centre found through Blackcircles, they do nothing but the tyres as you are getting them at such a low price. They want you out sharpish!!

So, you have issue with the fact that Nationwide Autocentre didnt look for / find any 'extra' problems, so you're going back to Kwik Fit, notorious for 'finding' things wrong??

If your old tyres are showing signs of scrubbing on the outer edges and you have kept them inflated correctly then you'd probably want to have the tracking checked. Otherwise your new tyres will wear out unevenly and need to be changed early.

I agree with oscardogs comment, i've been using blackcircles since about 2006 and the local fitting garage never try and sell me any add ons, very rarely takes longer than 20-30 mins from arrival to leaving again.
I think they know blackcircle customers are chasing the extra few quid savings and not worth trying to sell extras too.

I bought tyres from Camskill and went to my local Nationwide centre for fitting and they didn't offer me a single extra.

In a perverted way I was disappointed - I was looking forward to the arguement!!
