Wow, MalwareBytes really doesn't like VideoEgg.
The HijackThis log looks pretty clean, nothing nasty, just a couple of comments.
Firstly it is showing you have AVG 8 or 8.5, so you should really update this to 9.
Secondly, you seem to have references to a few different antispyware programs - SuperAntiSpyware and Spybot as well as AVG - these could conflict and possibly slow down your system.
Also, PCPitstop - do you use it?
You also have a few toolbars - Google and Yahoo.
There is some translation stuff is this intentional?
Is it running any better now?
I will update AVG now.
I will remove SuperAntiSpyware
PCPitstop was only downloaded recently to try & solve the slowness of the system, should I remove that as well?
Could you advise how I remove the Yahoo toolbar.
I remember using a translation program to help DS with homework - Should I remove it?
Thanks for your help."Hope for the Best

You still have norton trying to update itself when you already have AVG
Use the Norton removal tool

As Above ~ you do NOT want 'video egg' for anything:idea:0 -

You may need your Product Key when you reinstall your Norton product. To be safe, follow the steps for your product to be sure that you have your Product Key if it is needed.
The steps differ depending on what product you have.
Choose your product:- I have a Norton product that was purchased from my service provider

It looks like it could be just the Live Update (Symantec) component remaining - try Add/Remove programs from the control panel - it may remove ok.0
