So you know the transactions are split up into the following catergories

TESCO STORE 1234 - Thats a purchase in a store at any manned till point
TESCO GARAGE 1234 - Thats a purchase in any Tesco fuel kiosk
TESCO SACAT - Thats a purchase on any self service till in the country, they don't go as far putting a store ID.

As for getting a copy of the copy receipt, Your card issuer might be able to provide you with one (I know my bank can) but if you go into tesco with date/time/till/card they can trace the transaction back in detail to the options you selected. Its so detailed it goes "Message prompt: Double scan. Is this an error? Operator 1234 selected 'no'"

Don't worry about being turned away as this goes against the ECOH policy every store has, but I fear now tesco are intergrating their kiosk, customer service and lottery points into one desk itll only cause trouble.

If you used your clubcard, tesco will have all records of your transactions! i had to return a faulty phone a few months ago but had lost the receipt, tesco cs not only replaced phone for me, but gave me a copy of the original receipt just in case i had problems with the new phone!
