As im not on a contract whats my best PAYG option for sending and receiving texts while in Bardados?

Texts are free to receive anywhere.
Not sure about sending from Barbados, but some Caribbean islands are somewhat flakey with text messages and many sent from down there do not arrive. I am not ure if this includes Barbados.0 -
Recently we were not able to send any texts from Jamaica, but one did get sent to us, although it took 2 days to arrive.True Friends Are Hard To Find, Harder To Leave And Impossible To Forget.0

Easy peasey texting in B'dos. Efficient and all texts I have sent from there have always reached their destinations.
Make sure your phone is unlocked or it will cost $60 B'dos to unlock. Then purchase a visitor's Sim from Digicel (one of the providers)for about $30. you get $10 of credit o that. Just top up when you run out of credit.
