lost wireless connection after resetting laptop

    If the wlan adaptor isnt showing in device manager then there must be a way to turn it on via a switch or the bios

    Are there no little switches that slide which turn wifi on or off?

    Maybe on the side / front

    yes there is and its showing orange and its on. First thing I tried. thats nearly as far as I got on my own

    yes and that does have a yellow exclamation mark, didn't open it before to see exclamation mark.
    It doesn't say its called a satalite toshibo just says personnel compter

    How did you restore to factory settings?

    If you have exclamation marks, you need to download drivers from the Toshiba website.

    I didn't do it my father did. Usually I would ask him to sort problem out, but he has gone on holiday now and I am left with a nagging 9 yr old . He said he didn't test internet as he thought it should of been alright.

    If I need to down load driver can I load it on to a disc then just instal .

    The only thing my father said when i spoke to him on the way to the airport that it might be something to doo with vista
