probably helped you to get it out of your system as well as telling him.

I saw your double today!! I was turning out of the car park at work and had to stop behind a car - there was a lady on a bike waiting to come out of a side road and we looked at each othere - seriously thought it was you!!

(were you in Poole at 5pm today on a bike in a red fleece?!!)

Well Ive phoned and told my mum about R, she is very happy and can't wait to meet him. Its nice to have an understanding mum :)

Do you think I should warn ex that ive sent him a letter? I thought I might just send him a text to say that so it didn't come as a suprise Ive written him a letter which he should get tomorrow. Or should I just leave it and wait for him to get it

Sal, you are so considerate about him (ex) considering everything! But yes if you want to soften the blow a bit it might be a nice thing to do to send him a text. It must have been hard but probably very therapeutic for you too to get things down in words.

    Are you seeing R today?

    Morning All

Well sent text to ex and got a reply to say basically he could guess what it was and that he couldn't make me love him and be with him, he couldn't read the letter as it would push him over the edge. To take care of both of us....

And yet he still manages to make me feel guilty that it was my fault even though it was him that was off cheating and talking to other women...unbelievable really!

My main concern now is that a) he would do something stupid just to make me feel worse or b) try and take B or do something to her

!!!!!! why is life so flipping complicated!

Anyway I shall have lots of hugs later as R is coming around for supper :)
Oh and I am meeting his parents on Sunday ahhhh

Of course you're going to worry but he's not done anything silly so far has he?

Try not to worry too much x

No but I do wonder about his mental state! Nothing I can do but will just have to be a bit wary.

Ooohhhh meeting the parents! I'm sure that will be fine - they'll be just as nervous as you.

As for the ex, he'd be daft to do something silly but I do understand how it plays on your mind, like you say though, he was the one daft enough to throw away everything you had....he'll have to learn to live with it.

How's B about it all now? Does she get on with R?

Thanks Pooky...Im sure he will survive just like i had to on the numerous occasions he decided to cheat on me and tell other people that he loved them! I WILL NOT be made to feel like its my fault :)

Bea is absolutely fine and really doesn't even mention Daddy..she was pleased to see him obviously last time he came down but she doesn't really want to talk to him in the evening. Its up to him to make the effort now, I can't keep doing that for him.

She hasn't met R yet, we both think its a bit soon and don't want to confuse her, it will happen soon enough probably we will meet with all the children on the beach or something and just let them introduce themselves while playing. B will love his daughter, that little bit older but not too old that she won't play :)
