Morning all
Its a beautiful morning here, no wind, no clouds in the sky and its supposed to be 15.c here:rotfl:Although I have to go to work :( until 1pm. Then I think we will be heading down to the allotment to get a bit more digging done before the rotorvator tomorrow.
Not much else on, need to also get up into the loft and do some tidying but that will be this evenings job once its dark and the sun isn't tempting me outside!
Hope everyone else has a good day plannedI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Its so warm outside already...hurry up 1pm so I can get home
Bea did have a bit of a wobble in the car on the way home last night about daddy not ever ever again being able to play with her. Think I need to make more of an effort myself, but then tbh its not like he did a lot of playing with her, guess she was just having a reflective moment after playing with my friends husband and children.
Am very happy happy smiley smiley today though, onwards and upwardsI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

But of course daddy will be able to play, take her out, read with her, whatever.....
Oddly enough, my two seem to have spent more "quality time" with their Dad in the weeks since he has been gone, than they did when he was here - down to everyone making a bit more of an effort I guess. Even though they only see him once a week or so, they probably spend more "real" time doing stuff, chatting etc than during the whole week previously.
Bea'll be ok, but you will get these "moments" as she runs through all these changes in her own mind.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
I think the thing is that because he was off work he was around all the time..not necessarily doing anything with her! I did try and explain that even if daddy was living with us and he had a job she wouldn't really see much of him. Anyway the teary moment passed quickly enough and no mention of it today!
I do think B and yours will get more quality time and also there isn't the other parent to take over so its nice that they are totally responsibleI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

From my short-term experience......it all sorts itself out, regardless of the age etc of the children. The main thing is for you and I to remain positive, to look foward, and to remember that things are really not so bad in the bigger scheme of things
As you say, onwards and upwards......although perhaps I'd better get showered and dressed first :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
