WTC - Disability Premium, will it be stopped?

Nope, when you first apply you can get it if you've had a sickness benefit in the last 3 or 6 months (can't remember which) but if your award for said benefit ends when you're on tax credits then you lose your entitlement altogether and wont get it back again until you get your sickness benefit reinstated. This applies even if you have one of the prescribed disabilities, I still lost conciousness more than twice per week when my DLA ended but I couldn't claim tax credits until I'd got DLA reinstated.
I should explain here that although the DLA award ended one day and started the next it took them 3 weeks to send out the letter with the award on it so my tax credit claim had a 3 week gap (which they backdated).
Also there is no 4 week run on in these circumstances.0
