I should have a money lost column for today, as I accidentally threw away a tent worth £160 which makes me feel ill at the thought!

Garage is sparkling clean, and very well organised, so I'm pleased with that though.

Dentist visit went well - budgeted £30 but cost £10.10 (I didn't have any change, so they were happy with the £10 cash). Teeth feel lovely and clean.

BGF came for a visit, and we did work things for quite a lot, but had a giggle along the way, which has picked me up a bit.

For lent, I'm giving up: all sweets (chocolate included); all cakes; all biscuits; all crisps! I really am .... arghh, I'm as nervous about this as I was about giving up the fags all that time ago!!

I ventured out into MSE land and got battered for expressing views (a proper gang-up as well :(), just gonna stick in challenge land in future.

Had some ME time today, catching up with some carp TV etc. I'm sorry though I didn't take the op to have a lovely walk with DD. Will venture out at the weekend.

Thanks again to anyone that pops in with encouragement - it really does spur me on xx

All better now, just sticking to the threads I know and love.

Weights back on, but day 2 of lent seemed to go well, and I'm not craving stuff too much (although I did have to check whether a peanut butter and jam sandwich would be okay or not (it was deemed to be okay - yummy)) Ha-ha, she says wobbling in her chair!! **sigh**.

Will definitely have some left over on the petrol thing - although I've got quite a long drive on Monday, so maybe not - we'll see.

Bad news on the Spain apartment - has dropped nearly E50k which I can't afford to lose, so instead of selling I'm going to have to let it out again, which barely just covers the cost!! I put it up for advert at work so hopefully that should generate enough to cover the summer months, and then keep fingers crossed that I can get a winter let - and then see how it's doing next year. Can't believe I'm typing this, as I'm condemning the family to another cold winter with no boiler!!! Oh well, what must be, must be!

No flying as B&G - I've got a message out for a new tent on Freeble so keep all fingers and toes crossed for me.

    Thanks for popping by xx
