Turn your phone off, remove battery and SIM, replace battery and SIM, turn phone back on.
That's the first step Customer Service would go through :rotfl: (I used to work for CS @ Skypark in Glasgow)

Already done that. My OH has the same phone, we've sent texts to each other and haven't received them. Also when we call each other it goes straight to answer machine.0 -
Sounds like there is service issues in your area then tbh - especially if you have 2 phones with the same problems.0

OH is with o2 and no problems at the minute
(I was with o2 but owing to their appalling and useless customer service I cancelled my contract)We all evolve - get on with it0 -
Does O2 not have a "network services" option that you can go through to to query something like this? I thought they were 24 hours, but I could be just imagining it all.0

Network Services is a back office team - they'll deal with lost/stolen phones out of hours.
Their primary function is coverage/service issues however they'll only speak to a customer after diagnostics are done by Customer Services (and it's like the Spanish Inquisition trying to transfer a customer to them!)0 -
My mate (in Ayr) quite often has the same problem with his N95
To reset the phone on the network scroll through the settings to find network settings
Go to Network selection
Pick MANUAL
choose another network (say Orange or T-Mob)
The phone will reject this
Pick O2
the problem may resolve then0 -
