Hi there all you mobile phone peeps 
Im thinking of getting an iphone on Orange but just wondered if it was possible to unlock the orange ones for any network yet? and if so, how do I go about it?

I think you have to have had it for 3mths on Orange before they'll unlock. O2 will do it immediately on PAYG or contract.0

If you Jail break it then it can go on any network using 2 applications, you just need to do a bit of research. Hubby has his on Orange and now can use any sim in it after doing the above.0

Evie82 the only problem with that is that it does invalidate warranties, and isn't official.. not everyone wants to go down that route...

Plus on the latest iPhones it only does a tethered unlock, which means every time the phone restarts you will need to re-connect it to the computer.0
