Annual Rail Ticket - Wakefield to Kings Cross

  • I've tried splitting the ticket into two parts;
    a) Wakefield to Doncaster
    b) Doncaster to Kings Cross

    This will save me £41 per month which is better than nothing I suppose.....
  • PS. There is also a deal on parking at Wakefield which will save me around £40 per month too so an £80/month saving in total....
  • Hi,
    Thanks to the others for posting the tip about breaking your season ticket in Doncaster. Can you tell me where you have found a deal on parking please?

    I need to commute to London on average 2 days a week for 2 months from Wakefield. I think a monthly season ticket will still be cheaper than buying peak tickets and will allow me to be flexible about train times as well.

    Thanks.
