"Jeggings" are funny aren't they? I also like "coatigans" :rotfl:

I probably am a bit mutton for the old sequin jobbers - especially as when I turned up in them on NYE, my friends were wearing slippers :o

On NYE my sister asked me if I was "young" enough for the dress I had on :rotfl::rotfl:

Even my darling little son asked me today when I donned a pair if I had my fat trousers on :rotfl:

Thank you for making me feel better!!

I RAN a marathon, macgirl - past tense (actually, I ran 3, but all past tense).....now I fall into the fat and lardy category where I would struggle around the block!

Well, once the day of reckoning arrives (Jan 15th for 1st 3000 GNR places), then we can all start the training/fitness (Ha ha - typed fitMESS by mistake - freudian) plan.

As I've said before, once you attain a level of fitness, getting there again is easy (er).
Also, for me, once I post to you all that I'm going to run, I really feel I have to. Then we'll start getting competitive with each other - and hey presto - fit legs in no time ;)

The first is named after my Dad.....yet I have not ever been able to take part.......

The half marathon is something I last completed in 1993.........

Perhaps it is time I got my act together.

so do I...nothing to work towards means you kind of bumble along. Trouble is that doing a race means the outlay of money...which I don't have *pah* oh well I shall carry on bumbling along!
