Well I've finally caught back up. Glad DS got away okay and that the snow hasn't had too much impact for you. I've worked from home a few days this week and did a massive shop yesterday. Just have to hope that the gas and elec supplies last! We have snow but can get out and about....

Its much milder here now and is starting to melt - we have had lots of snowfall today but it is all wet snow so hasn't had any lasting impact.

Assuming that DS is ok - he's not let me know otherwise.....I work on the "no news is good news" assumption generally, with the occasional peek at facebook to see if he has updated his profile. It is "school" rather than skiing on a Sunday, so he will not have had his most favourite day :p

I'm sure DS is having a ball - is this a competition that he is in at the mo?

He'll be training for a week or so before he does any racing, SH, his first race will be on about 20th or something close (note to self, must pay attention to race timetable to make appropriate comments on the right day).....I thought he would be in school today, but it seems he was allowed to ski instead because it was his first day back

Tough life...... I don't know how he will manage out there :rotfl:

KC, yes, winding DOWN, not winding up - something I have vowed to get the right way round this year!

    Poor lamb, my heart bleeds....:D
I've been yearning for a bit of skiing after doing the Giant Slalom on the Wii - not quite the same, but about all I can afford

Glad you had some down time today - it does you good every once in a while. Plus, I agree with Pania, it gives us poor s*ds chance to catch up!
