Property !!!!!! for those interested in these things........it is on the same road as DD's hoped for sixth form.....and certainly in my favoured part of town. If that type of house is up for sale in a couple of years time, I would definitely be viewing it.
Well, hellloooooo Mr Depp

Nothing to report - off to scratch and bank. Hope you all have a good day :snow_laugSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
10ps only on the scratches, and nothing to report, in or out, of note in the banking.......DS/DD's school is not closed as yet, although many in the county are, so at the moment it is business as usual......Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Morning - no snow here - just the smattering left from yesterday - our school appears to be the only one in Essex open !!!!
Hope everyone has a good day despite the snow, ice and cold0 -
Just did a post and the internet connection blipped, so 2nd attempt now!
Good morning Hypno & hypnoettess,
Slept through till 6So gradually getting more sleep, did stay up till midnight though, which I think is helping. Brain seems to be more alert at least.
Not much better luck than you on the scratchies this morning, the highlight was one 25p one!
Got to face a morning of the dreaded ironing after eventually discovering the laundry room last night, a really fun evening . Foreign machines with no instruction in any language didn't help, presumably it's supposed to be intuitive logic, well my logic wasn't that intuitive, it was press any button in sight and hope it worked and didn't ruin the clothes or the machine
Hope the schools are open, especially for your DS with going skiing soon, do they send work with him?
Have a good day everyone0 -
Well, as expected.....school is shut. Roads are hideous with accidents where lorries can't get up the inclines.....I am in work, but there are very few of us here so far, and I guess that we will run on a skeleton staff today.
se - glad you are getting more sleep, I hope it continues, and good luck with sorting out foreign appliances - any housework is hard enough, but when it isn't even in English
Se - DS has gone into school to try and collect his schoolwork to take with him on Saturday....just in case they are shut again tomorrow. Mind you, at the moment I am doubtful whether the local airport will be functioning on Saturday - and there is only one flight a week from there to Geneva.......time will tell, and it is just a case of wait and see (and hope insurance covers it!!).Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
