I've got to get on the scales first.......I could be waiting rather longer than I would like, for the bag!!

I agree you should go for the bag as well. Other than the fact it is gorgeous, you promised yourself a treat for hitting your target and if you've done that today then go for it. You've been so strong through all of this, you can't now deny yourself this one treat. It will be an investment and it will be the start of your beautiful new capsule work wardrobe!

Well I would buy the handbag...I think you set yourself the goal and the incentive of the bag and therefore if you don't reward yourself as promised you might fail to continue.

Anyway £90 on a bag...I want this one (in my dreams) and its £449

Just sometimes we have to just buy something that we dont really *need*.
I bought new shoes the other day as I loathe having scuffy shoes and it makes me feel down.

I like the swirly handbag.... but I like the red one too... there's only one way to find out...FIGHT!!!!!:rotfl:yes, I do watch TV Burp, how did you guess??

That zoom feature is really handy on your bag: I'd check stitching on the handles and where handle is attached to bag, they seem to be the points that would let it down. Coming from the Land Of The Bull Ring Shopping Centre, you have the opportunity to spend several hundreds on a handbag, so I was astounded by the price. I second the "if that's the one you want... " post. Then again, I would :D

Well seeing it just confirms the opinion, it's a classic statement red handbag, so an ideal starter for the new capsule wardrobe. It's in the sale at 50% off, and then the quidco cashback, so you are maximising your moneysaving on it :)

    I'm drooling too.

Ooh, good taste, Hypno! *Slyly* You can lend it to Pickle any time you like! ;)

But seriously, if that bag is keeping you motivated in your weight-loss goals and will help you with your physical 'reinvention' as this time in your life, then go for it. No, it's not cheap, but it will last a long time, especially if you treat it right (clean with the appropriate cleaners, stuff with tissue and store in a dust bag), and you will get that warm glow every time you look at it. Perhaps you can divert chocolate funds towards it so that it's REALLY helping your weight loss efforts? And anyway, every now and again you need a treat to keep you sane and remain happy. Go for it! :)

P.S. Swirly bag is gorgeous, too! :D

    Buy, buy, buy the handbag.
It's lovely, you promised yourself, you've had a sh*t time, you can afoord it, you need it, you want it and life isn't just about self discipline and denial. Have it at Easter instead of an Easter Egg and then it will be good for your diet twice over. Motivation AND transferred chocolate cravings!
