but apparently I need to be about 6 ft tall to be able to wear them

Heels always make you look slimmer. After years living in trainers etc, suddenly wearing heels does make you look slimmer, and the way you walk changes.

Takes a while to get used to it again though :o

    Enjoy the skiing :)

Practise at home if needs be. Much better to do that than stagger & flail around outside ;)

Not that I'm saying you would tho! :o

I have been practising at home, so now back to normal 2 inchish heels, but when I get back to the UK going to try to go up an inch or two more inches in the heels :) I've got awful coordination, so the staggering and flailing was a good representation of the pre-practise sessions :D

I'm 5'7.5", the.5 is important :). It was also a matter of getting the confidence back about not being taller than most people too.

Hypno - hope the skiing went well.

    WWMS? What Would Martin Say?

Martin would say - do you need it? YES can you afford it (hopefully) YES can you get it cheaper elsewhere NO (I wouldn't buy undies off the internet unless it was an exact replica of one I had already). It is bad for your bits to have a wrong fitting bra & can permanently damage the muscles, so you should always get fitted when you lose weight.

  • Congratulations Hypno on all your baby steps - and I'm delighted that you've got all those squares to fill to mark the change in weight (coloured pencils I hope!)

I was shocked to read you're 5'4... I imagined you at 5'10 at least :rotfl: Isn't it funny the assumptions we make of our online buddies :o

It's been lovely to catch up on this thread - it's a strong bunch of good people and although I'm not about much, I do think of you and I've been sending good 'vibes' to all those that have been dealing with the challenges of life.
