Well done on the impressive first weeks results Hypno.

I'd like to get down to 9st 5lb when I get back to Uk at the end of April. Can't weigh in until I get back, so just got to stick to being good, and hope it works. Will restart the exercise once the worst of the cough is over.

When I had my big diet (I'd crept up to a size 22/24 - and got back down to 14), I used to treat myself to new clothes on the way, having clothes that fitted made you feel better and made you realise it was working, so it motivated you to keep going. So I like your idea of the treats on the way :)

This diet for me is to try to attack the last bit, that didn't vanish at the end of the big diet. I've had a few tries, but it seems to be superglued in place. But I'm determined to shift it this time.

Those last few lbs are always the hardest to shift!!

    A Question For the Ladies:
Conscious that this is the MSE board, I really couldn't make my mind up about this. OK, the point is with improved figure due to exercise, weight loss and the changes during pregnancy, alterations to the body can be fairly drastic, resulting in poorly fitting underwear.

    Do you:
    a) carry on and use what you have till the size fluctuations have stopped, even if it's a couple of months past it's use by date?
    b) Go and buy something cheap and cheerful off the peg for the meantime?
    c) Get an appointment with the bra fitter so you get something that fits properly?

I mean, what does a girl do, there's nothing quite like the psychological boost of a better silhouette from underwear that has elastic where it should!:rotfl:

    WWMS? What Would Martin Say?

Sorry I've not been around to - oh, I was going to say offer support but you'll think that's a cheap joke! - but our council flat has been subject to a number of builders, sparkies and plumbers... so we don't have to chip the ice off the metal window frames in the morning! :D Honestly, Flylady would have a fit.

    Keep On Keeping On, y'all.

I am terrible as far as spending money on any sort of clothing is concerned, but on the rare occasion that I have gone and been fitted properly, and spent the money that it deserves, I have felt like a million dollars.....

    WWMS - love it :money:
