I was expecting a loss, but not that much, so am very pleased. Need to capitalise on that now, and see if I can lose another couple of lbs next week.

thanks sallyx.....while it would be nice to see it continue at that rate, I suspect I will be down to the odd lb or half a lb from now on. Mind you, I would be happy with that, as it is all heading the right direction. Long way to go yet though :o

You have to remember, lunar, that this is my first week of watching what I am eating, and follows several weeks of not eating much at all, so it bound to slow right down from here on. You are doing fine - a steady weight loss is what is needed, anyway, as it is more likely to stay off that way.

Its just the same as the debtbusting - and I have used the analogy many times - baby steps, you have to have your mindset right, new habits have to be formed, etc etc.....but as long as the numbers, whether they are stones and pounds or pennies and pounds, are heading in the right direction does it matter how long it takes!
