    Morning Hypno,
Has your phone order been confirmed by email? Mine hasn't and isn't showing in my orders section on dialaphone, but has tracked on topcashback. Theres lots of rumours about it all being cancelled too on hduk :o

Pop over to the giol board as there is another whill offer today and a couple more I'm going to look into for the carling cup final :)
Maybe once the weathers picked up we can have a car boot challenge, any one else want to join in? We'll pick a day thats good for us and compete to see who can get the most pennies :D

Mine has tracked on TCB, and I have had a confirmation email from dialaphone, so I assume that it will all go through ok. The confirmation order also mentions the cashback, and various insurances that I will have to cancel before I get charged for them, so all looks about right!

I will take the lappy to the ski club and look at the GIOL board when I am there - I do need to utilise any offers like that as they arise. I think I need to revert to my "old" way of having a MB "pot" so that I always have enough available to deposit rather than to borrow it from my grocery budget etc.

As for a car boot challenge - I don't have much that is worth selling, so I think I will aim to do about 3 or 4 over the year, then what is left at the end of the year can go in the tip. I wouldn't expect to make much, but everything will help.

I am about to do a list of stuff that I need to do today......at the moment it is all in my head, and is therefore in danger of getting lost!

  • Morning Hypno :hello:

Had a quick read back and glad to see you are feeling a bit more chipper. Are the kids enjoying the healthy food lifestyle as well. I do think WW is good as you can all eat properly as a family!

Hope you get the mortgage papers soon, when are you starting the skiing for "you" again?

I'm just sat on the settee with a brew and watching DS run around with 8 balloons he has blown up followed by a mad puppy  Think everyone else stayed in bed for the right reasons!

Have you got out for a run yet? Not that I'm pushing you..................honest.........:rotfl: I did 19 miles, my first proper long run, how I'll manage the other 7 is completely beyond me, forgot how boring they were on your own!

    Have a good day x

Hi IMD! The children already do eat healthily - they have to, for their sport, and part of their training focuses on what to eat......they even have a nutritionist as part of the "gifted and talented" thing that they do at school........something that I could probably do with!

The only poor eating habits in this house are mine.......and they are slowly coming under control :)

I started *my* skiing on Wednesday last week -was v. good and will definitely be going again each week. I've not been for a run.....tis tipping it down......but the lighter evenings that are approaching do give me optimism for the future :o

Right, off to pack up the lappy and head to the ski club for a couple of hours. Flask of coffee made in order to keep the cost down.....am trying!

Have you seen the Body shop offer on the grabbit board? Basically you can order various shower gels, moisturisers, body butters etc and get it for a tenner! I just ordered; 2 x cocoa butter creamy body wash (£6 each), 2 x cherry shower gel (£6 each), 1 x vitamin E moisturiser (£9),cocoa butter body butter (£12.50) and including delivery it came out at £11.50 with 15% to come back from topcashback :j :j I use the moisturiser anyway, and the other stuff will be made into little gift baskets for xmas pressies or for teachers at the end of the school year :D I remembered tou you saying you sometimes got dd bits from there for birthdays/xmas so wondered if the offer was any good to you?

    Hi! Hypno, chin up.

Haven't seen any new reviews from you lately on Dooyoo, its not much but it does mount up over time and your reviews were always worth reading.

Feb was rubbish for me too. Think I was so gung-ho in January that I forgot how knackered I'd been in December, so February passed me by.

I'm definitely up for Car Boot Challenge - I don't like doing them either, but it's a good way of getting rid on one fell swoop (except the last time I did one, I end up bringing a lot of it home again )

Have a good day all :)

Instead of doing a boot sale, how about a garage sale? If you offer a percentage of your takings to a charity then I'm sure local radio/shops would advertise it for you. That way you can get everything set out in the garage, rope the kids in to help and just open the door...no trundling off to muddy fields etc. (you could even say you're going to do it a couple of weekends in a row if you can spare the time)

Grabbit board duly added to my "to do list" for today :) Thank you!

Elliemoo - Re dooyoo - yes, I had thought that I really should revisit it - even if I only do a few each month, they will add up over the course of the year and be useful money for one pot or another!

Pooky, I don't think I could bear people rummaging round my garage - I hate the thought of seeing people I know at a car boot, so a garage sale would give me nightmares!! Good idea, though, but not for me!

Right, have made a sort of list for the day - nothing too daunting on it, just stuff that needs to get done, eg returning a DVD, start looking for car insurance that is due in 2 weeks, etc etc, but there is quite a lot on there so must get my act together.
