So......two more days to get through until the weekend.......time seems to be going so slowly right now and I am sure the cold weather doesn't help. More snow overnight and more on the way apparently.

10p only on the scratches, £25 paid to the 0% card as its usual monthly payment, and quidco has tracked for the life assurance already.......

I've got a small mystery shop at lunchtime which will get me coffee and £5 for my trouble, and this evening we have options evening for DS.......so another fun packed day awaits me!

Hope you all have a good day, and wrap up warm!

    Good morning Hypno,

Scratchies done here, highlight was one 25p, but it gradually adds up in the right direction :) Got to deposit and play some cash bingo tomorrow to trigger a 5 pound profit, which will be good.

Britain sounds really cold and nasty, hope it's snow free when we fly back end of next week.

Did you have a go at the yoga? If so was it as good as you remember.

Enjoy your mystery shop, a nice free coffee and being paid to drink it isn't too bad really :)

Have a good day everyone :)

P.S. Hope you and your lambs are feeling better soon Shaun

I didn't do the yoga last night - it sounds stupid, but I was too wound up to do it, if that makes any sense whatsoever......I know the yoga is supposed to offset the stress, but my head wasn't in the right place for it yesterday :o

    I know......I know..........

morning, maybe you will feel like it tonight.

When do the children head off to Norway? Bet they can't believe we have snow here and none in Canada for the winter olmpics!

Hope you start on the yoga tonight Hypno, at the moment with me I'm not really right at the start of the sessions, but by the end it does work. I know it will be better when I'm into the routine properly, and then I'll start looking forward to the sessions.

Anyway, diet was a disaster yesterday, did a really nice meal (aubergine slices topped with mozzarella, with roasted med. veg and red rice), then OH wanted some bread (we hadn't had any for a couple of weeks), so warm baguette, with yummy butter and brie and red wine followed, but it was very nice, but got to get back onto the straight and narrow today.

Pippa, the children are off on Saturday - so I have the delights of a drive down to Heathrow.....I think they have plenty of snow in Norway.

se - I am currently eating hot buttered toast and marmite at my desk.....we have a toaster for the early birds, but normally I don't make use of it. I brought some bread, butter and marmite in, though, and think I will have the same for lunch after my M/S.

    Hi,

Glad you're keeping on, keeping on. Congrats on getting a do-able plan together so quickly. I had an idea about your mortgage but with your plan already in place, seems a bit irrelevant.

(For the record, it occurred to me you could go interest only on the mortgage and then (depending on the terms of your mortgage) overpay - so you're still repaying the capital but just a little bit less than if you were on full repayment.)

    Best wishes,
    FLC

If you have a toaster, you could get some pikelets for lunches (some people call them crumpets, the bubbly one's not the doughey ones), they'd be super toasted, and then dripping with melted butter, definitely a winter treat. I sometimes stock up with them from tesco's, they freeze easily, so you can just take out how many you want in the morning.
