Hey, ive just got a couple of questions, hope somebody can help.
I want the GQ and Conde Nast offers - they are both direct debit but do they just take the full amount out on month 1 or do they split them across the duration of the subscription?
Also, for example with the Conde Nast offer for 5 mags for £5, do i cancel the subscrition as soon as the first payment is out, or does it just get cancelled automatically after month 5?
Thanks in advance:beer:0 -

they take the full amount when the first mag is sent out eg you will be debited £5 when the first conde nast mag is sent out to you.

I subscribed to EL and have now received my first magazine and free gift. I planned to email them to inform them I was cancelling the DD but can only find a telephone no. on the DD confirmation letter. Has anyone got an email address for them, or is everyone contacting them by phone?:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0

When do you cancel the direct debit?
I have just order 5 for £5 Tatler magazine with free benefit.0 -
Terms and conditions on the website of lets subscribe state
"You need to cancel your subscription directly with the publisher. You will find their contact details inside your magazine, and also on the covering letters you will receive each month with the magazine."
I always cancel with the website or company if i cancel as they might just keep sending magazines and them bill you for them. Best to let it run a few months then send a letter or email telling them you wish to cancel and make sure you get a reply or confirmation0 -
If you don't want to phone to cancel your Easy Living subscription, what you could do is visit http://www.magazineboutique.co.uk/store/custompage.asp?customid=349 and click on Manage My Subscription at the top right. When you received your confirmation letter from Conde Nast, there would have been a 10 digt number at the top right of the letter (or it will be on the slip enclosed with your magazine). This is your subscriber number so to log in, enter your number, your surname and your postcode. This will bring up your subscription details, including how many issues you have got left to run and when the final DD payment will come out of your account. To the right, it says 'Send E-mail Enquiry' so you could cancel it by e-mail and make sure you ask for an acknowledgement of the cancellation. I would cancel your DD with your bank too to be on the safe side.0

I've just done this and given my bank details, but after I clicked 'Confirm' on the payment page, it went to a page which said 'link broken' and didn't display it. Went back and clicked confirm again and nothing happened. Am rather worried - is this site safe??
Also tried ringing on the number given onthe website, and doesn't seem like a professional company - there was a answering machine message, didn't say I'd gotten through to the company or anything, just said 'I will get back to you when I get back to my desk'. ???0 -
ive telephoned the magazines to cancel the subs but was told 'youve already cancelled the direct debits so what do you want me to do?'0
