  • Ive just recieved my holiday details and an invoice for £104!!! Im really confused as I checked my email confirmation I recieved when i booked online and it says the holiday cost is 341.50 and the amount paid was 341.50. How can I then owe £104. This is for a sun holiday to France. Anyone any ideas?

Yay, got my Ferry confirmation today (by email) :j Just need to ring Brittany Ferries to see whether I can add the bike carrier to the booking.

At the bottom of the email it said:

so not long to wait for park confirmation hopefully. Going in July, btw.

    Hi

I have finally received my ferry booking email confirmation, but it does not mention the car. I presume this is booked, does your confirmation mention your car?

My holiday to France was £280 for 4 of us when i booked online, and then i had to pay another £60.50 for utilities and breakage insurance. I already knew i would be invoiced for this as it said on the holiday park information that there was a charge which would be invoiced later.

did you book a date that was £15 ? as then you would have more to pay ,also european sites usually charge a damage waiver £15

our french sun holidays are usually
    £38 accomodation
    £6 per night service charge
    £15 damage waiver

and that's it ( we don't use their ferry,we go by eurotunnel)

did you take out insurance or something ?
  • Also the European hols were for 7 days, UK for 3 or 4 nights , so double the cost.

Hi, no I didnt opt for any insurance/extras. I did choose the most expensive ferry route hence the price being over £300. Still unsure what the extra £100 is for - there's only 2 of us going....
