JSA: Not meant to sign-on today

my bad. I don't use the Jobcentre so misunderstood.

I still hold a point that if people are working on those days why they simply can't sign jobseekers on those days is beyond me. I guess its good news for the Jobseekers

I cannot see the point in visiting the job centre, one can see the vacancies on line, why can't signing be done remotely. Get rid of job centre staff and save the government money.

There is postal signing sometimes, but the Jobcentre staff are still needed to process the forms sent through the post.

Yes but why at the places where they interact with the public? they have to have guards etc couldn't this form processing be done at the bdc's?
