For those that have booked before please could you advise on the following.

I am wanting to go with my inlaws so in total there would be:-
My partner and I and our 2 girls, Bil and Sil and nephew and grandma and papa and we would all require our own accomadation.

Is it ok to put 3 application forms and cheques in one envelope? As we wouldn't want to go it we couldn't go as a group.Would we need to put a covering letter in specifing seperate accomodation.

    Hope this makes sense.

I have never done that but others on here have in the past, yes I would put a letter in stating you only want to to go to the same site

just be aware that if you want to go at a popular time, or to a popular site, you may not get anything :(

put down as many dates / parks as you can

    Good luck

May I ask a very dumb question (actually two). Are there any destinations on the list of £9.50 holidays which would be suitable for a young couple not looking for clubbing/sunbathing type of holiday?

Second question, are tokens still being printed in the Sun or will we need to wait for the Daily Mail offer?

Tokens only started saturday so there is time to collect them

As for suitable places- there are over 100 parks listed, and they vary from small and quiet to large lively parks so I'm sure you can find something once you look through the options. I'm a firm believer that a holiday is what you make of it anyway- if you don't like clubbing/sunbathing - just don't do that and find other things to do!!
  • I would like to go on one of these holidays and have started to collect the tokens, but due to work and the dates they have available, i can only make one week.

If I put that on my form, whats the likelihood I will get it, or do I need to put down 5 dates and 5 locations?

    Thanks in advance!

Guess it'll depend on the date- if it's very early or late season you may be lucky.I'd say if you're looking for May onwards for the summer the odds are slim. To increase your chances put as many locations in as possible. If you don't ask though....you wont get!! Good luck

Answer is every holiday available would be ideal, we use to go on a lot of these as we go on our own. we don't bother with the entertainment pass, we always phone up 5-6 weeks before going and ask for a place as far away from the entertainment complex as possible, we do sight seeing in the area and eat out so we just use the accomodation as a base camp.

If you want a park in the uk and there are four of you and no kids i would not bother as you can get the best accomodation & entertainment pass all in if you book direct and wait until a week before you want to go.

The tokens are still being printed in the Sun.

As for sites, I've only been to Presthaven Sands and Lakeland (which I love). I go alone with my little boy and we just use the site as a base while we go off exploring. I don't pay for the passes as we have no interest in the entertainments. You can make the holiday what you want. If you want a quieter time, pick a time when it's not school holidays.
