Have you checked the drive in device manager ?

Yes. It is listed under "Disk Drives" as "USB to IDE/SATA Device USB Device".
The "Device Status" box says that it's working properly but the "Volumes" doesn't show any info about the HDD.

I'm really puzzle:mad:
