Just received an item I didn't order!

Hi all,
I received a recorded signed for parcel this morning, wasn't expecting anything, and when I opened it it was 3 pairs of CK boxers, which I know i definitely haven't ordered and there's no return address. The address is hand written so I'm assuming it's from ebay, plus I ordered a similar item 3 months ago but in a completely different size and colour (wihch came no problem).
I don't really know what do to, don't like keeping something that isn't mine but I no longer have the details of who I bought the previous boxers off so have no way of contacting them to check. Do I just keep them? What about the fact they were sent recorded delivery? Whoever sent them is going to see I've received them...

How strange!
The seller should only send out if they have recieved payment so tbh it is there fault. Must be a error on their part.
I`m not sure what i would do tbh xDebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j

If no seller details are included I'd say there is nothing you CAN do.
In your position I'd wait a few weeks and if the seller realises his mistake and contacts you you can always send them back, but if you haven't heard anything within a couple of months I reckon they are yours fair and square.
If you are really conscientious you could always contact the seller you bought from previously and ask if it's anything to do with them.Oh dear, here we go again.0 -
Thanks, I think you're right, will just have to hold onto them for a while and see if anyone contacts me. Can't remember who I bought the previous ones off ebay from and as it was over 60 days ago it no longer has the details on there.0

If you're really interested in finding out who posted them and you've got half an hour to spare, you could always do a search of completed listings on ebay and try and find the listing ? :-)Google is my friend ..... :j0

There were 3 pack's of CK's on offer recently (can't remember the site but not ebay, possibly amazon?) and a lot of people went mad ordering them as they were so cheap. You didn't do that and forget, did you?0

why would you?? its the sellers mistake wait for them to contact why waste your time, they will probably expect them to post them back to them at your own expense aswellEveryones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.0 -
Yeah not sure I want to spend time doing! Only thing i did think of is checking on paypal to see if that's still got the details of who I bought the previous lot off in October. Only thing with that is I'm guessing they'll want them sent back which is fair enough but it's a hassle for me to get to a post office and also I'm not being out of pocket for someone elses mistake!0

At least they weren't used:eek:0
