    Options are attach to a different pc, internally or via hard disk caddy, fix the problem using windows disk/chkdsk etc, or use a bootable linux cd to get at the data.

  • moved on a stage i have removed the hard from the laptop and fiitted into an external drive, connected to my main computer, then it starts to load the external drive and stops, error loading so it seems that the hard drive is at fault, is there any way that i can force it to load so that i can do a scan disc or any other type of repair. thanks guys
