Been a busy busy girlie again.

Thursday me and Simon went to Pizza Express and the Cinema to see Four Lions which was hilarious!

Friday night his band played in a battle of the bands, you got a vote for every drink you brought so queue us all getting wasted and they came second as we drank so much! :D

Saturday and Sunday were spent relaxing though and seeing my friends, we went to the gym Sunday too though so he could go swimming, me and my best mate were watching him from the gym and he was diving and making sure I was looking, was hilarious!

I got some goooood news this week, my brace is coming off on 9th August!!! Yay! I am going to look like a normal adult again! :rotfl:

I got my shiney new smartphone today, the Sony Ericsson Xperia, a tad hard getting used to it being a touch phone but lots of fun free apps for it!

Things are going great with Simon still....am meeting the kids tomorrow! Tad nervous but we will be in the park and with this gorgeous hot weather (which now has me looking like a lobster!) I should be ok.

Just wanted to post to say meeting the kids was ok, I did nearly have a panic attack before though I was so nervous. We were just in the park for about 3 hours, managed to get more sunburnt though ooops!

Cara was chatting away to me and was completely fine with his daddys "friend", Lucas was quite shy and didn't speak to me that much but did get a bit out of him, not sure he was overly happy he was sharing his Dad's attention so I tried to get Simon to pay him attention as a few times he had a sulk.

Hopefully next time it will be easier for both him and me, hardest part for me was not touching Simon in anyway, weird not holding his hand when walking!

On the money front I get paid Tuesday, I am so poor I have had to borrow money off Dad for tomorrows driving lesson, which I am not looking forward too really, still getting nervous about them :(

Aww sounds like the meeting went really well, some kids are shy meeting anyone it might not be the fact that your his dads new gf.

Ohh driving lessons, you cant be as bad as me.....i always got my left and rights mixed up, still do!! only ever since i started driving though!

One lesson my instructor said turn left and i indicated right and when he told me no thats right i kinda panicked and quickly turned left, going over a big corner of the curb...i felt so stupid! All lesson he kept reassuring me as well as laughing at me, when i arrived home he said...its nothing when you get out have a look at the wheel its fine...........so i got out, looked and replied ken your tyre is going down hahaha oopsie!! He had to cancel his next lesson :o i felt so bad, i could see him out the window replacing the tyre.

And after all that i passed first time, nothing to worry about and once youve passed youll wonder what all the fuss was about in the first place. :D

Yeah i spose youre right, youve got that bit of fear from last time, youll do it otherwise if you was letting your fear control you, you wouldnt even be taking lessons again, so with that determination youre going to do it.......il pm you regarding the ex situation.......

Hey lady, Glad you're happy and btw I am the world's worst driver. I've had heaps of lessons and haven't even been allowed to sit a test so you can't be any worse than me! I get the rage with folk going slow and drive like a man!!!

Right was payday yesterday and most of it gone already.....

Bills including driving lessons are just over £400 this month and I got a little bit of overtime again so I have £600ish left (spent some already).

Thank god my brace is paid off now as that covers the driving lessons now.

My credit card has crept up to £600 though  so just paid £90 off that and I am selling my old phone on ebay and hoping to make £60ish quid from that which will go on the credit card too, just been using it to pay to go out with Simon.....

Savings now stand at £1450. If I was on target it would be £5000.....:o but I am going to be getting an extra £90 in my wages each month when I start the new job and bonus potential is up to £450 a month plus overtime so I will start chucking loads in I hope.

Think all the savings will be going on a car when I pass my test though thats not going to be for ages! The lesson Monday was better though after last times horrendous one!
