I start with Dailies and then go to the page I left off the previous day (if I'm not up to date). I'm quite proud that I'm currently only about 20 pages behind at the moment and will hopefully get up to date very soon. This time last week I was about 150 pages behind - Christmas hols are good when dh can entertain children on the Wii and give me a chance to catch up!
I try to remember to do the comps ending the following day (or more if I have time). I do weeklies and monthlies when I remember and then panic and can't remember whether I've already done them this week/month! (Should write it down).
When I have time I post on IWIWIW and congratulate other winners. I work part time and have two school age children and have won literally thousands of pounds worth of prizes this year. I'm limited to how long I can spend comping so I'm really delighted at how well I've done this year. x
  • I get up in the morning...have coffee...comp all day long...go to bed

Thanks to everyone who posts comps, I love winning prizes big and small

  • I started a part time job at the end of nov and that played havoc with my comping! I start with my dailies first thing in morn, I was then doing the day after endings but have had to stop them since work. I catch up with all those that have been listed after back from school and sorted son out. I work from page 1 till I get to the last comp I have entered. I then fit in the postals a couple of times a week and also do the weeklies on a monday and monthlies first of each month.
Thankfully all the advents have now finished and I have a little more time!

Similar to the above. I tend to do the comps when I get back from work at around 19:00. I start with dailies (but don't do them everyday), then go to the page where I left off the evening before, and enter comps I like until I am up 2 date.

I sometimes enter a few comps before leaving for work.

On Sundays, I will do any weeklies. I will then go though all end date for the following week, finding any comps I may have missed.

    love it! :rotfl:
  • I comp in the evening, but just go through the ones posted at the time when I log in, working back to the start of the previous day - I don't sort them into date order, I just work on the Last Reply time and date, so sometimes the comps move around the pages for me and show up at a later date. I use a wall calendar to mark off the dates I have checked comps for, so if I fall behind I can keep track of what posting dates to start on. Before I comp in the evening, I like to read the winners thread to see what people have won - it keeps me going! :j

I always subscribe to each one so I don't duplicate entries, and thank the original poster (thanks posters!!). :T

When I have time on the weekend I will browse through here without sorting the posts, just checking for any I may have missed, because the way I comp means that the odd few might slip through the net. I only comp on what I want to win for either myself or my family, and use autocomplete for quick entry. I mostly comp while I am doing something else (chatting online) as it saves "real time" But like a few posters have said on the forum previously - you have to decide how you can fit it in - cos there is nothing worse than having to catch up on a few days comping - it puts you right off! So I always comp every day. Like a little comping angel :rotfl: :A

I'm hopeless at the moment, Im so behind and seem to be in a comping funk a the moment.

Sometimes just for a change I will bring up a list using the search function eg ..
    Brand Name..Sony
    Item..Spa
    Website..allaboutyou
    MSE id..elverman

Need to get back into the game again.
  • well im not organised compared to everyone else:rotfl:

never have time for dailies, weekly etc maybe i will do them if i have time, which is hardly ever:rolleyes:

im normally 2 weeks behind on entering postal/text comps as im busy posting up those comps for others to enter, normally each day i sort out through my mags, do entry forms, puzzles etc, put them to one side etc

i backtrack to where i was last on the main board and also do comps ending each day for the following day, i normally comp in bits throughout the day:D need to get more organised;)
  • People have a plan? Where is the time for planning except when in bed- a few hours a day. I don't have a plan I have panic- currently doing comps dated 22/12, nearly the end of the month- relief done all comps ending in Dec but weeklies and monthlies to fit in and endless surveys to fit in too and then I have to eat occassionally trying to keep my keyboard clean and failing. Just as well my husband cooks and cleans but next year planning to grow fruit and veg and to make comping life more difficult and to get even further behind we have holidays planned.. So really no time to respond to posts like this- read thread in hopes of help to cope better. So going as toooo many comps to do and tooo little time-

I think a year or two back catz answered this for me and i've used her words wisely,

I start my day with dailies, then back track over the board to where i left off the previous evening,
If u pick a start point, say 1pm today and from there on do every comp of interest listed and carry on doing ur endlist, in approx 5 weeks u wont have more than 4 or 5 comps on end list to do, by 2 months there will be days and days where there will be no end list comps u havent already done,

I really buckled down and done this and now only do comps as they are posted, which gives me more time for other stuff.

I hope i made some sense!

    good luck :) xxx

Yep! I barely do dailies now unless it's a good un & there are too many pages now to go back to where I left off so now I put "NEW TOPIC VIEW" & go back to where I left off. Unfortunately it means I miss out on threads thst have been replied to & chit chat & stuff but it's soooo busy round here these days :D
