Hi all,
After comping for over a year, I seem to have developed the habit of entering all "comps ending for the next day" now I would like to be able to"fit in dailys etc" and maybe newly listed, how do you guys fit it in and how long does it take!!!
Happy New Year - nearly!!!

I think a year or two back catz answered this for me and i've used her words wisely,
I start my day with dailies, then back track over the board to where i left off the previous evening,
If u pick a start point, say 1pm today and from there on do every comp of interest listed and carry on doing ur endlist, in approx 5 weeks u wont have more than 4 or 5 comps on end list to do, by 2 months there will be days and days where there will be no end list comps u havent already done,
I really buckled down and done this and now only do comps as they are posted, which gives me more time for other stuff.
I hope i made some sense!
good luckxxx

i do it a bit differently
i start with dailies - depends how many you do i have my own list and takes 10 mins at the mo tops.
then find where i last left off say ie page 33 and work to the beginning of the thread
on a Wednesday i do the weeklies and around the 5th i do the monthlies
seems to work for me
Happy new year and happy compingBack comping Nov 2021

I have a similar system to those above. I start with the dailies, then go to where I left off the day before and work toward page 1. I find there's usually around 10 - 15 pages of comps posted per day depending on the day so I make a note of where I finished then start there the next day.
I do the weeklies on a Sunday, and the monthlies on the first Sunday of the month.

I start with the dailies, back track on the main board to where I left off from the previous visit, weeklies on a wednesday and monthlies on the first tuesday/wednesday after the begining of the month, I do a lot of work online as well so am on and off mse all day keeping the comps up to date:)Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0

I sort the comps according to 'end by date' and try to work about 4 days ahead.I do the weeklies on a Monday morning, occasionally do the dailies but rarely do the monthlies since they seem to be 'sign up to newsletter' and I think the chances of actually winning those are too small (I may be wrong!)
BTW - is there a way of going back to the last comp you entered.I always make a note of the last page but that obviously changes so it often takes a few minutes to trawl through a few pages to find my start point.0 -

I subscribe to the last comp I entered that day (through thread tools, you can have different folders to make it easy)Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End

The only routine I have is with regular comps. I open them all in Firefox on the enter page if that's possible...then save the lot as bookmarks (all tabs)..so I can open them all in one go each day. That way I don't forget any and can add or remove them as they come and go..and when this place goes down (like it did last night and may one day do for longer).
A daily folder,, a weekly folder, a monthly folder...and recently an advent folder.
I find that dailies very early each day, then new posts later makes it easier...you only end up returning to sort out the days new stuff otherwise.
I still have trouble with dupes though...there are some posted today that look very familiar but may be from other sites with the same or a similar prize (and answers too), so I'm thinking of only entering by close end dates to avoid this a bit?
