OK
Looks as though his TCP / IP v4 DNS manual setting is wrong.
If he sets this to auto - problem solved

You are nearly there, but on Vista /7 you need to do this with elevated rights, start >all programs >accesories >command prompt - but instead of clicking command prompt with the left mouse, right mouse click and "run as administrator" - then do ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew
Thanks for all your help guys.
Tried this but still no success!I say what I like, I like what I say!0 -
Hi There
Are your TCP / IP v4 DNS settings set to auto yet?
ipconfig / release / renew will NOT release this manual setting for you

Thanks for your help. Yes very strange I have changed my IPV4 settings to auto and everything is working fine.
However I think at least once it's changed back to 'Use the following DNS server addresses' so I'm not sure quite what's going on. I've had to leave it for the moment and do some work! At least I've learnt something today though and know how to fix it!!
Thanks againI say what I like, I like what I say!0 -

No probs
If it keeps changing, which is weird, just set it to: 192.168.0.1 permanantly
