Are there any new phones out within next couple months? Im due for upgrade!

My phone is now up for an upgrade with O2, I rang them the other day and cancelled it ( last day 28th Jan)

I really wanted the palm pre however the contracts are rubbish and they were not offering any deals on it what so ever even though I have been with O2 for 5/6 years as they are the only network who has it.

I started looking into the HTC HD2 however the best I could get on that was when I tryed to cancel my contract and asked them to match T-mobiles current offer online, they came back with: £35 for 600 minutes, unltd txts and internet however with insurance of £7.50 plus VAT it was more than I wanted to pay.

Before I rang to cancel my contract I went into the O2 shop and he said they were not able to price match instore until the 28th Dec so I dont know wheather to go back into the shop to see if they can give me a better price than what i was given on the phone.

Does anyone know wheather HTC or any other companys are bringing out any new phones within the next month or two?

I dont know if I should to wait and see what new phones come out to get a newer phone/better price on deal and for now just get a free sim or wheather to take O2's offer on the HD2 even though its more than I want to pay.

Do what my wife did. They will deal on the iPhone, which is on the same tariffs as the Palm Pre. She got the iPhone 3g (a refurb I think) and sold it and bought an O2 Pre on eBay. Stick the SIM in and away you go. You'll get good money for the iPhone, and allow £250-£275 to buy the Pre. If you've got a PAC it'll just expire if unused.

i got the sony ericsson aino u10i recently, very pleased with it!! great internet capabilities, great 8 megapixel camera and pretty decent tariff, i stuck with orange, but o2 were doing a similar deal for new customers, so im sure if you are upgrading it may be an even better deal you can get!

Google Nexus One, Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, Apple iPhone (some time this year). Anything running Android 2.x could be interesting.
