Thanks cardew for your helpful information on the fire. I will like you say check it on a longer basis, its not a problem just wondering what the cost is, Its only used some evenings and is not our sole heating, its very decorative and natural looking, and its back up heating should unfortunately the boiler ever go wrong . on high flame you have to open the door to let heat out, sitting room went to 77 other night on full, turned it to lowest setting and it reached 72degrees, also did turn rad to off , so no complaints there. Its trial and error when like any item when first installed. so far so good. thanks to you on your info. :T0
