nope, they are ugly, and the only good thing about them is the bmw engine, the rest is pure rover junk.
i know a guy who had one, he had so many stupid electrical faults,he decided to sell it and buy the estate version, which again has had simalar stupid electrical faults....work permit granted!0 -

Are the petrol engines from BMW as well? I know the 2.0 diesel is (was thinking about buying one - lot of car for the money especially in "Connisseur" proper old man trim)

it has a legacy of poor quality electrics and persistant head gasket failure i would say. and not to mention the over expensive spare parts,even when they were still easily available....work permit granted!0
