erm, yes they do need to take out the battery (when unlocking sony ericssons) to allow the unlocking program to boot the custom code written onto the phone and complete the unlocking procedure.scottishblondie wrote: »Well that's why you watch them do it. to get the imei of a sony eircsson phone all it takes is to plug in a data cable (with the phone turned off) and run the identify scripts with the phone boot into the service mode0
