I want to buy a new microwave combi (A combined microwave, grill and convection oven). On Amazon, when I searched, many Panasonic models appear, which is a surprise for me (I only thought of Pana as a Plasma TV brand).
Has anyone used Panasonic microwave? Is it considered a trusted brand in this area?
Thank you.

Panasonic microwave ovens are very good. I don't have one but my sister does. Their invertor system works really wellTry saying "I have under-a-pound in my wallet" and listen to people react!0

I'm sure we had a Panasonic Microwave years ago. I would check out reviews but I expect a Panasonic Microwave would be fine.
To be honest I think of Panasonic as a trusted brand whatever field it is in. They certianly don't just make plasma TV's. they make LCD's too!
Also, Camcorders, Digital Cameras, Av equipment, Home Appliances, Phones etc. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -
We are on our second Panasonic Microwave.
The first one lasted 12 years.
(And will have another if this one goes)I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0 -
I've had a Pan' combi oven for nearly 5 years now. Completely trouble free and works as well as the day I bought it:idea:0

Thank you. I really like Panasonic and plan to buy one. However, I'm not sure if their cheaper models (sub-200£) are good enough.
For example, a customer said of this model: "Had appliance for 2 years, was using convection oven and it caught fire. Unit is completely burnt out. Would never purchase similar appliance again - unit gets too hot, therefore too dangerous."

Hi Csarina, do you mean the average longevity of the microwave is about 2 years?0

Any Microwave is capable of catching fire.
It depends on how you use it.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0 -
We have had that model Panasonic for over three years and never had any problems, it does get hot in use but so do all combi microwave ovens, providing you follow the recommended clearances for ventilation when in use they are perfectly safe.0
