Sky+-alike with no fees?

Hi all - hope someone can help as I've searched but to no avail...
We have the Sky freesat service - i.e. have dish and limited channels, but don't pay a fee. Is it possible to get a Sky+ type box that doesn't involve paying a subscription? Our region is now all-digital, so at the moment we can only record the channel we're watching, which is a bit pointless!
We currently have an old CRT television which will need replacing soon, so if anyone knows of any integrated TV solutions that would be useful too - though at the moment would prefer a separate box if one's available!
Thanks in advance...

You can either go the Freeview route, assuming your aerial is good enough and get a twin tuner recorder which will allow 2 recordings at the same time.
The other option is to get a Freesat box, but as you only have the one feed from the dish, you would still need another feed to allow you to watch one channel and record another.Dave. :wave:0
