Not seen on the forums, but you probably already know.
T-Mobile do Solo Fixed to prevent kids over spending, there is now also the U-Fix tariff Range.

In retrospec of looking into this i believe U-Fix and Solo Fixed are the same.

Isn't U-Fix a really old plan they offered a few years ago that was poor value?0

With U-Fix you do not get good value for money eg. U-Fix £15 50 anytime minutes + 30 Texts on 12mth contract.
My advised would be Solo 12mth Fixed tariff £15pm- 500 minutes (anytime) + Unlimited Texts + New phone S3100 Samsung - if you ask ( Basic phone but cant really grumble considering the Solo prioce plans should be Sim Only ) Solo Fixed is also available on 30 days contracts also - Solo 15 £15pm = 350 minutes + Unlimited Texts0 -
It's also worth noting that Three can apply a £0 credit limit to absolutely any account if you purchase in store, so you can't go over. Hence, you can get something along the lines of:
Sony Ericsson T715 (nice 3.2MP Sony slider)
Mix and Match 500 (500 minutes or texts)
300 3-to-3 minutes
Unlimited MSN and Skype
Free Voicemail
For £13.50 per month, or £18.50 per month with unlimited (1GB) internet if required, safe in the knowledge that you won't go over.Hope that helps,
Mark
Full Disclosure If this is a mobile phone related post, I'd like to disclose that I currently work for Three retail but any posts I make are my own, and not endorsed by the company in any way. I use this forum in a private capacity.0 -
Solo fixed is conceptually the same as u-fix. Just a different price and bundle. You still need to top up outside the allowance.
The Solo fixed deals are as good value as the normal solo tariffs, so it is worth it if you want the extra control on your outgoings.0 -
