Ok, I may be extremely niave, but i need a bit of advice! I am looking to get a better deal on my mobile. I am currently with T-mobile and when I phoned to cancel, they couldn't really offer me anything wirth having. I have been with them for 9 years.
Having researched in the internet there are lots of places doing free gifts - i am a bit of a sucker! I have found exactly the same deal as I am on now, but with a new Samsung phone and a free LG TV. So, what's the catch? Is it worth going for, or are these free gifts just a big con? Would appreciate any advice or horror stories, or stories with happy endings!

I'm also with T mobile - I am due for an upgrade too! I caught an ad on TV where they were offering a laptop free - I've been on their website, no mention of it!!

I'm not bothered about being loyal to them - expect the laptop deal is for new customers only!

Like the OP - I would appreciate some help and advice! Especially as I killed my laptop about fortnight ago and am using sons.. if there is an offer going I would be very happy!

Youre not allowed to post links. Any mobile deal with a free tv/console basically means youre paying far too much for your mobile phone per month. You can get unlimited txts and a decent amount of calls for about £20 on an upgrade and an extra fiver for that and internet.

Bare in mind that if you get a new contract on the same network they won't move your old number on to it (if that's something you need). You'd have to port your old number to another networks payg and then back...

The carphone warehouse offer lots of free gifts like Nintendo's and Laptops with their mobiles too. I trust them, I always get my mobiles from there...I doubt they're a scam.

Not sure about other places though.

Thanks - I generally do use Carphone warehouse but have just kept renewing the last couple of years or so...

Didn't know you couldn't post links..... is that something new? I've done it several times on other forums before... nothing to do with modbiles tho.. seems odd if you can't pass on info etc.. Must be a new rule, I've not been on here for a few weeks.

The carphone warehouse do some good deals, i agree. I have found one on the internet which is exactly what I am paying now - same price plan - combi30 but you get a 32" LG TV.

I'm seeing alot of 'offers' but not sure of the sites... but as not allowed to post links on here - can't find out if they are reputable or not! Stupid! Guess it is a new legal rule or something! Another sign of dictatorship in a free country (allegedly :rotfl: )

When did they stop the linky thing on here? Must be very recently! Stupid idea - as said before, must be a legal thing! Not sure how they'll manage on health and beauty etc without linky things....
