    Combofix works fine with Vista

ComboFix uses the Windows Recovery Console, somehow I cannot find that for Vista

    Tell me

If you use CF on a Vista box and CF messes up a registry setting

How are you going to restore it?

    Regards
  • I feel sorry for this person your supposed to be helping this is ridiculous.

I want to just make a few point and I know what im talking about.

Vundofix is no longer used because it is outdated and no longer updated and it is no way near as efficient as CF.

CF does run on vista with no problems at all yes it could mess up your registry in certain situation but it could also do that on XP.

Combofix does not use the recovery console it installs it, but only on XP, because vista already has a recovery option built in so it is not needed.

I hope I didn't miss anything, please just grow up and give this person the help they are asking for!

I find it amusing that everyone on here whose PCs have viruses always have a bit-torrent client installed.
Running stuff from pirate websites is asking for trouble, regradles show much 'antispyware' crap you run.
