Problem with wrong item sent/ fake item

On 5th december I ordered a Manchester united shirt from the site ww.the247sale.com. It had a number and players name on it for £23.99. After a week I emailed asking them to confirm dispatch and they confirmed this. As Christmas drew closer I emailed again on 20th stating that I still had not received the item and they claimed that it must have been lost in the post. Further, they would start investigations with the post office and claim against them. However, I was to give it another 5 days and contact them again if the shirt didn't turn up. I obviously had to make other arangements by this time to purchase another shirt and ended up having to get it from Old Trafford itself on Christmas Eve. On my return from shopping I found the package had been delivered (from Thailand) but was both the wrong strip (away strip when home was clearly indicated as having been purchased) and was clearly counterfeit.
I know in retrospect that it started to all appear iffy after a couple of weeks (gmail addressed replies at strange times in the morning, etc.) but the order had been placed and I hoped I'd have some claim on my CCard if the goods did fail to arrive.
The company is registered in Guernsey and they stated in their last email that if the goods failed to appear they would send replacements as they did not have facilities to refund money. (the transfer was completed through RBS Worldpay).
Obvioulsy I do not want a replacement of such clearly fake goods and have had to make other arrangements and paid for the original gift elsewhere.
Any advice as what to do next?
Many Thanks

Have you spoken to your credit card company? It sounds like they are your best bet here although someone correct me if I'm wrong doesnt the amount have to be over £100?
It's clearly nonsense that they 'do not have facilities to refund money' 'and I don't think you're going to get any further by talking to them.
Good luck0
