Lads, does eny of you even bother to check those tvs (or at least google them) before posting those unfair comments?
Technika 40" HD Ready 1080P LCD TV with Freeview 40-920
I know that most of Tesco brand Technika products is poor quality crap, but you are all far away from true saying this model is bad quality as well.
It is brilliant quality full hd tv with a samsung panel.
Some detail about it:
Brightness 450 cd/m2
Contrast Ratio 5000:1
HDMI Connections 3
Resolution 1920 x 1080
Picture Frequency 100
Seen one of them at teco display. Really impressive quality specialy according to the nice affordable price. Seen many LG, sony and philips with waaaaay waaaay worst quality and more expensive.0 -

now that you mention it tossing a barge pole thru the centre of the screen would probably make for quite a satisfying exercise
....if we're being challenged to google here's what it bought up for me

....so so long as you're not fussed about bad picture quality when viewing SD or HD and poor sound at low and high volume levels its perfect :hello:Dire motion blur, Noisy pictures...
Pictures are inconsistent...
Sound quality isn't great for large rooms
Cons: One one scart and HDMI
Sound lacks depth.
The sound can be a little iffy as you turn the volume up.
Bad sound quality at low levels0 -

LOL have you at least read what i wrote? Technika products ARE mostly very bad in quality, but that model is not bad at all.The 'unfair comments' have probably expired now, since the thread dates from last year!
Not really because you can still buy that tv in tesco.
Maybe the thread is 1 year old but the comments are unfair and if somebody will be looking after comment about that model he will see that not everyone think it is a bad choice0 -
