  • I wasn't too bad choccie wise over Xmas,so I'm not feeling guilty about pigging out a bit today!
I have a loaf in the breadmaker, a beef joint in my (stocking filler) crockpot, and a chicken carcass in my stock pot! Any crock pot/SC recipes gratefully accepted!

  • *peeps around the corner*

I'd just like to say it's nearly 2pm and I'm not even dressed yet!!!:T:rotfl::T

    Still.....what are days off for?!

I been online looking at wedding dresses and made appointments to see 2 venues on our shortlist tomorrow.

And it's back to the running club tonight although gonna see how icy it is as my trainers have no grips on them and it would be just like me to fall and break something!

Oh - and I have a box of M&S cookies and some Hotel Chocolat choccies left too!
Good wine needs to breathe, if it stops breathing try mouth to mouth.

I have just found an incentive to be good this week...have a date a week on Saturday...and it's not Mr Sunday. :o

I love him to bits, he is wonderful, but I can't spend another year with my life on hold.

  • I'm really fed up today too. I hate New Year so it is possibly that.
Cold so have rebelled and put the heating on AND light the fire.
Got soup and sandwich and then I am going to attack the chocs.

Going pram shopping with DDs tomorrow so that should be a happier day.
  • ssshhhhhhhh........I'm in one of the classrooms using a scanner (for work purposes!) but internet is unmonitored in here so I can pop in and say 'hi' :D

I have huge amounts of chocolate still at home - it just seems to keep appearing even when some gets eaten! I have 2 big boxes of Hotel Chocolat lovely chocs, 2 boxes of thorntons, 2 huge bars of cadbury dairy milk and shortbreads to eat before my diet starts on 1 Jan :rotfl:

I think you are doing the right thing Snags. However lovely he is, he is still stringing you along by not being able to commit to any kind of relationship. It's not fair on you for him to be shoring up his own issues by using you to 'help' him through whatever has gone on in the past through leaning on you in this way.

Get out there and wow them girl :D

Better go back to my desk - I've been here just over half an hour now doing work and researching stuff for one of my courses next term!

    See you all later!!

Hope you're all feeling a bit more upbeat soon - horrible to see you all so down.

I'm feeling pretty good at the moment - all things considered, but then that's how I cope with things, there's stuff I can change and make better and there's stuff I can't.....I just have to look at the stuff I can't make better to give me the incentive to do those things I can.....IYSWIM
