No one thought you were ISOM- my mum and sis exactly the same:D as ex smokers, they can't stand being in a smokey room at all. I must admit it never bothered me in pubs and whatnot, but each to their own.

Thanks- but i am slowing down at scrabble..honest:D:rotfl::A

I do enjoy the game- see it is a challenge very stimulating a bit like chess..but no one will play me at that at home:o Think i will join a club.:D

I really have no problems wioth EoN - you do just need to watch that you are on their current cheapest tariff, but they do very well overall on all comparison metrics

Yep i have had a quick look and saved the comparisons- will take it in tomorrow when brain is a bit more alert.

Query about the £500 card -v- DD's Uni money.
How much are you paying each month towards the card right now?
How long would it take to replace at that repayment rate to DD's fund?
How long until DD need to use the money in her fund?

OOOh now i will have to think again:o I know the logic of paying- but i just wanted a little pot to say this is DD's and that's that:o:o I have been slushing dosh in a bit at a time and took me ages as i was overpaying everything else.

    I don't know what to do now:o

The card is £15 a month min payment. So will take ages for him to clear at that rate.

  • Mini update for today. I thought i would go blue- no not rude blue..:)
Today i needed to get some dosh out- i left my dinner at home so i thought buy a Tesco £1 sandwich and get cashback- *simples* err no. I left my bloomin card there and the sandwich gave me stomach gripes :( so now i have an extra journey tomorrow which will cost me in petrol. Oh and i only found out when i went to get some bargains in farm foods- two loaves for a £1 etc. Had to break into my tenner for that as well.

Moral of the tale- always take your sandwiches :(

Mr.B had delays today on train - due to snow, there was a rush for the one carriage and he had his flask and dinner dashed on the line- moral of that tale- err claim back for distress caused- well a new flask anyways which was mine, sneaky Mr.B.

So we were down two dinners today and probably a fiver in expenses. Grr

That's about it really, except i hope the snow doesn't disrupt too much tomorrow as i have a busy day ahead.
