For my 3 bed semi in Lincolnshire - 2 adults + dog
Council Tax - £150 a month
Gas - £20 a month (DD)
Electric - £16 a month (DD)
Water - £15 a month (meter)
Telephone / Sky / Broadband - £40 a month (plus calls)
TV - £12 a month for the licence
Contents Insurance - £10 a month.
People paying £100 + a month for gas and electricity alone, do you keep it like the Sahara?? :eek:0 -

No, but in my case the house is occupied 24/7, I work from home so have to heat a home office (log cabin in the garden) and run several PCs for at least 10 hours a day, oh and I have a lovely hot tub in the garden :j
- As I said before - different lifestyles. We don't know that the op won't be working from home and installing a hot tub
