can someone PLEASE help me get my wii online

    Yes, try turning the firewall off on the router to see if it works.

    I had terrible trouble getting the Wii to connect it is not very intuitive compared to a PS3 or Laptop.

    I connected my sisters on xmas day. Doing as I normally would it wouldnt connect. Changed 'something' (Forgets what) and it still wouldnt connect. Went back to the ORIGINAL settings and it worked :confused:
    Wii's do seem very odd to get working correctly

    I never had a problem getting mine to connect. Worked first time.

    I think it can be a bit tricky if your router is set up with a few security settings, but I would have thought you should always be able to get it connected in the end.

    There should be nothing fundamental to stop it connecting

    We had a similar issue tried to set it up didn't work, changed the settings didn't work, changed them back worked fine :confused: same issue with the gf's ipod touch
