too soon for salmonella prob is just a coincidence, symptoms would last a few days, immodium or not you would get severe stomach cramps and would feel like....well like !!!!!! for the best part of a weeknickinoo wrote:I had some Dairymilk Turkish delight on Wednesday night & awoke in the early hours of Thursday morning with severe stomach pains. I spent a good part of Thursday on the loo until I managed to take some Immodium & even then I still felt sick, dizzy & achey-I am not convinced it's a coincidence.
I am disgusted that Cadburys think allowed dirty water to drip on to a production line is acceptable regardless of the salmonella link.0 -

Did anyone here send any bars back to them? If so have you received your refund?0

A company like cadburys will test for salmonella daily, it only takes 3/4 days for a result, they will have known about it for a while, they must have kept getting positive results, just the odd one would not have warrented such a company going public with an issue, it had to be a risk to public safety, they would have gone through goverment agencies first to give themselves a bit of respectability "with consultation with the FSA" makes them sound like they have nothing to hide, yet they have known about this from Jan.0

We sent a bar back and have not received anything, thought it a bit odd that two months on we had got nothing. Shall e-mail them I think.0

I sent back a Cadbury's Buttons Easter egg a couple of months ago and got a voucher within about three weeks. (£2.50 - I'm a bit jealous of new's £10!) It sounds like yours has gone astray, SMC.
B-t-w, you can also redeem the voucher against Halls, Trebor, Maynards, Monkhill Confectionery and Bassett's if all this has put you off Cadbury chocolate.0
