Hmmm, why was there salmonella anyway in the plant? Never mind on the food...............0
-
can take anything upto 5 days for symptoms so best to be aware, however they have said the bacterial counts are really low and it takes a reasonable amount to cause symptoms so hopefully all will be well
salmonella can get in a number of ways, a worker with symptoms or who has returned to work too soon after the illness, contminated ingrediants, leaking drains etc0 -
They could be a bit more specific - products made since when?0
-
gonna ask same question, is it ones with certain sell by dates?0

This has really bothered me. Just after Easter my little boy (two years old) was really ill - started to be sick and then 24ish hours after we had it the other end and this lasted for just over a week. My mom was also poorly but not as bad. It may be just a coincidence but he had been bought a buttons egg and I think they both shared it.
I cant believe that in June they are trying to recall Easter eggs that would probably have been manufactured before Christmas!0 -
In Sainsbury's today an assistant was filling a trolley with the large mint bars from the shelves, I thought this was strange.
Now I know why !0 -
According to the MD this potential problem (which he claims effects less than 1% of product) has existed since January. He also said that the possible salmonella conatmination is 30 times lower than would cause sickness. However, I would have though that a single salmonella bug, or whatever they are, could cause you to get sick. It's not like a poison or something where you have to have a certain amount.0

I called Cadbury's earlier: apparently it's all of the named products, irrespective of the batch number.
If there's no need to worry if you've already eaten one, I don't quite see why I should bother to return the one I haven't eaten. (If you see what I mean.)Mortgage at outset (May 2004): £80,000
Mortgage now (October 2007): £58,000
Original mortgage-free date: May 2024
Expected mortgage-free date: December 2014
Projected interest saving: £21,1000
